hard to be wordless on this wednesday

What a Wonderful Wednesday this is….  Confession – I started my day with a bagel and veggie cream cheese (my most favorite indulgence). SHHH!

After a long, hard winter that included my mom having major back surgery, losing my father-in-law, ongoing struggles with work/life balance, & a lot of cold weather, I really needed a little lift in my spirits.  Hence the carb overload this morning.

I must say that my day yesterday was a huge boost! Yesterday was a simple day, yet just what the doctor ordered for me.  Sometimes all we need is a little regular routine to feel back in the groove.  When life gets too hectic, and we stray too far from our sense of balance…..a little sense of “normalcy” (what is that?) is the glue that puts it all back in order.  Nothing super special, just good old-fashioned life.

Yesterday was brisk but sunny, and I enjoyed just seeing the dogs enjoy the warm sun in the backyard while I worked from my QUIET kitchen.

I had an amazing meeting at the Idea Mill about my branding and plans for my new website, so I was able to check something off of my to-do list for yesterday. Nothing like the feeling of moving forward.

The boys were back to basketball clinic after school, and it felt like a breeze to be back in the swing of things!  (even with the huge gym bags, and snacks, and gatorades)  There is something extremely comforting about everyday routines.

AND, my friend delivered a gorgeous new baby on Monday, who I get to visit today.

Nothing like a new baby to boost the soul. Wishing you all a Wonderful Wednesday and Week Ahead – Rachel

quick edit –>  here I am with my friend’s gorgeous baby boy! could I be smiling any more?  feeling all warm and bubbly!

Thanks for the extra picture at the end. Nothing beats holding a newborn baby. Gives me a wonderful feeling just looking at the pic. Congrats to your friend.

Congratulations! All in all sounds like you have had a couple of great days. Boys playing basketball—I so miss those days. New babies, makes everything feel possible again. Carbs, YUM! And those sweet dogs laying in the sun without a care. Not to mention a step forward in your business. I say celebration is in order. YAHOO!!!
