The Iphone is my most important must-have – thanks Steve!

This week, I scheduled myself to bring back the Groovalicious Gotta Gets, and I do realize that earlier in the week, I said that I was featuring self tanning creams.  I was fully prepared to do that along with a little plug for the amazing eyebrow wax that I got last night, but Steve Jobs has passed and this stream of thought no longer seemed appropriate.

While I am a girly girl who loves my lotions, creams, perfumes, manicures, and fabulously shaped brows, I am a closet tech geek.  Well, not even so much closeted, but at times mask my love all things apple with primping.  If you saw me getting my hair colored, you would see a gal with a shower cap on and multiple apple devices in her lap.

As moms, whether we are in business or not, we all have come to live by our smartphones for scheduling, emailing, entertaining our kids, and photo taking to list just a few.  I am sure that you all know that I LOVE my iPhone, and I have a very bad habit of visiting with the geniuses or the one-to-one people in order to push my iphone’s bandwidth further.

When I started the groovy gets, I told myself to hold out on the iPhone as being a ‘GET.’  Now, Steve Jobs has passed and I missed my small little way of honoring him while he was alive.  Today, it seems cliché to pick the iPhone as a Groovalicious Get, so I am marking today by honoring Steve Jobs and his legacy.

If you have an iPhone, use it proudly today in honor of how Steve Jobs revolutionized life for not only moms, but all men and women.  Buy an app, Recommend an app, or Use an app.  List your favorite app here…..

As I get ready to walk the dogs and listen to iTunes on my iPhone, maybe snap a photo while I am out there, and hopefully not get any emails from boys’ teachers, I will honor Steve Jobs because his legacy is an extension of all we do in life.

I never really thought about his impact until a couple of days ago. Isn’t amazing how he has changed the world and yet none of us were talking about him until his passing?

Jessica – I think we all admired him from afar, but only realized how much he was a part of our lives when he passed. What an amazing entrepreneur and role model! RB

    Hi Rachel,

Steve Jobs has done a great job, and it is wonderful and fitting that you opt out of what you were scheduled to do, to salute him. I am not sure we would have accomplished the magnitude of which the Apple products have today. He is missed, and will forever be remembered as the man who changed the way we access information and interact with each other – technologically.

There are a few benefits that you can get in using iphone and there is a lot more to explore and define. The one thing that people have to know and understand is that iPhone mobile is not only for individual use, it is also very helpful for business usage and can create a huge differences between the product itself and in decision making. Businesses that starting to use iPhone as an enterprise resource, and as well as understanding the value and importance of the product.
