5 Minutes of Being Selfish

I have been burning the candle at both ends.  Early mornings to get ‘stuff’ done, cramming 8 hours of work into 6, mid-day intense workouts, late night phone calls with China, and a whole menu of kids’ activities squeezed somewhere in there. Yikes. The details of your day may not be the same, but I bet the intensity is pretty close.

In an effort to pamper myself just a wee-tiny bit, I have been taking 5 minutes to sit with these little Vitamin C Eyepads (by Elizabeth Grant).  The claim to illuminate and I need that – BIG time.  I know it seems like quite a luxury and when do I find time to do this?  Well, when I am out of the shower, checking and answering some emails, I stick those puppies on and sit for 5-10 minutes.   I took a picture, but I am not a fan of sharing it, but I am happy to share some Eyepads with you.

Elizabeth Grant Vitamin C Eyepads

I just want to hear how you take 5-10 minutes for yourself in the PINK comments box below, and Elizabeth Grant will send a pack of Eyepads to one random commenter.

Comments will close on 2/5/2013….So, share your 5 minutes of being selfish before then.

Thanks to E.G. for sending me some Eyepads, as you can see I like them a lot.

Oh i just heard “beauty” and i am 🙂 5-10 min is sometimes more than enought to make yourself feel a bit fresher. I like to apply a thick layer of a nice moiturizing, maybe even cooling mask, make myself a nice cup of ginger & lemon tea, sit back and just breathe!
But eyepads doesn’t sounds bad neither. 🙂 How often do use use them? A few time a week?

I love going when they ‘need’ me – absence makes the heart grow fonder
