Ladies, it is March 15th and it is cold and dreary and wet and grey and has been snowing and/or precipitating all week. I have been known to complain about the weather from time to time, so, I am on a jag.
Well, the good news is I am heading to the Mom 2.0 Summit in Sunny California in less than 2 months, and the excitement over this conference is really starting to ramp up as usual on Facebook & Pinterest. Chatter around getting to CA, finding a ride to the hotel, and who the speakers are has been circulating and re-circulating. Before long, what to wear and what to pack will take over all discussions. Unfortunately, this is a bit of a casualty of having a primarily female-dominant conference.
Last year when I went to Mom 2.0 held in another gorgeous destination – Florida- I was sucked into all this superfluous clothing convo. This year, I am just packing and going…..But, I can tell you what I am NOT going to wear or pack:
Any type of Uggs.
Cashmere Ankle Socks.
Wool Infinity Scarves.
~Thank you to the organizers of the Mom 2.0 Summit for making it possible for me to survive another dreadfully cold spring while dreaming of the California Coast. I may not even bring one closed toe shoe (except for my running shoes).
