Coffee-capades

If you pay attention to anything I ever say, even if its a little snippet, you know I love coffee. I like it at home, Starbucks, and at tiny little independent coffee houses with a good book. In fact, over the last few weeks, I’ve been surviving on coffee and coffee alone. It seems.

I’m not going to bore you with how freaking busy I am because we all are. Busy. Dedicated. Swamped. Not able to come up for air.

But, I come up for coffee. You better believe it.

So, imagine my delight when Giant Eagle sent me a sampling of their new Market District coffees to sample. I was literally jumping all around. This was a blogging product gift I could get behind, and I did.

I did so much, my coffee maker broke. I can guarantee you this had nothing to do with the coffee but extreme overuse. I literally end up getting a new, fancy, not inexpensive coffee maker every six months it seems. I just burn through those babies.

Not this time though. I went back to my original, dependable Cuisinart coffee maker with zero features and just an on/off switch, and now I am BACK in BUSINESS.

What a great a terrific swag! I love my coffee too. Unfortunately I have to drink decaf which usually isn’t too bad but does not afford me the variety of full strength coffees. My tips: I use a scoop from Starbucks and one scoop per 2 cups on my coffee maker marker lines of water. I use room temp filtered water. I too love my no frill just brew me my damn coffee, Cuisinart coffee maker.

    Hi Rachel,
I burst out laughing at the image because sometimes it really feels like I run on coffee. I have had great experience with the basic Cuisinart coffeemaker and have come to appreciate just plain dark coffee.
